Oh, be careful! This hotel is discriminatory towards people with handicaps! I was there, I experienced it. This past weekend, my daughter's para sports team had reservations at this hotel only to be turned away because of the accompaniment of a medical assistance dog. Not only were the front desk staff untrained and insensitive in their language and behaviour toward their potential guests, they and the owner of the hotel, Ms. Ocak (with whom they telephoned regarding the reservation) were ignorant about and uninterested in German/international laws governing inclusion. I am shocked by this discriminatory behaviour, especially in a modern, inclusive, multi-cultural city like Berlin. It is obvious that the growing para-team will not longer consider Ocak Hotel a place to stay. Thank you to Wyndham Garden Hotel, which took the team on very short notice, treated the team as people, was less expensive and simply super!

Rude women working at the front desk

The day time receptionist are these 2 Turkish women they are just not exactly friendly nor helpful for being at the front desk at the hotel. If you complaint or ask for something, they always blame you first and give you this long face and attitude. My wifi wasn’t working for my room and was perfect in the lobby. They said it was the problem with me and my phone. Rude and unprofessional I said to them their site had gym pictures on it but they told me they don’t have gym YET because the hotel is new and that I would have to pay to use it anyway

Guy from reception so rude. The receptionist was making noise after midnight screaming , running and knocking doors to find out who was smoking from the window. Very disrespectful. In 2 days the cleaning lady didn’t refresh the room. She just hang out it the corridor. Staff (breakfast, clean lady) don’t speak English and didn’t try to help. Breakfast overpriced for a poor variety of food. About the phone in the room… they can only call you but you can’t even ask nothing. Coffe and sugar in the room but you need to mix it with your fingers. The hotel have good installations and the gym is amazing but of course you need to pay an extra supplement $$ Hotel should give you comfort and facilities not the opposite. For this better stay home

Horrible staff and not the rooms that were promised. We booked twin rooms but when we arrived they said that only king beds available and that they had tried to contact us. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

What a disappointment. Rude reception. Threadbare towels. Old pillows. Poor aircon. One milk provision for hot drinks for 3 days- and when asked for more given we were a couple we got one sachet more. Asked for sugar and got one sachet. Tea and coffee not replenished. Called an apartment but really a 2 star hotel.
